What is it?

Come together and bring your curiosity and desire to explore. Using Yoga and the Map of the 5Rhythms to warm up our bodies and Ritual Theater to delve into movement patterns, we will invite the body to stretch, unwind and play in the deep.

The body is a map of our brain. We can can incite comfort and integration of the human experience by inviting our dynamic expression in movement, creating space to feel what is true in the moment while having fun doing it.

Playing with our connections to the group by moving together, sounding, breathing and being in this open space to get funky and free. This class uses both music and quiet to inspire the dive into You, creating deeper connections to enjoying being a soul in body.

5Rhythms is an Awareness Practice

The reason I practice 5Rhythms: I like to push my edges, to feel alive and do something outside of the boxes that try to contain me. Otherwise complacency takes over and life can become mechanical. I’d rather feel the pulse!

A Wave is what we call moving through a cycle of all 5Rhythms. A Wave peels off layers of what is in the way of us being our true selves. The more Waves we dance, the more we feel free to be who we really are!

I love this work, this play, this exploration! It was a huge blessing when I finally found the 5Rhythms and our world wide tribe!!!!

Yoga and Pilates

Growing self awareness while connecting to the vitality of this body, I find a regular yoga and Pilates practice is a beneficial way to stay conditioned and connected to well being.  Life offers so many asymmetrical happenings and the body adjusts to repetitive movements by holding them in our musculature.  Practicing yoga and Pilates helps to unravel the holdings, coming back to center by using the study of these paradigms to nurture symmetry. That way, when life gives you unexpected twists and turns, you can rely on your conditioning practice and sense of self to support you and have fun with it.

This modality coupled with 5Rhythms has been a profound awakening in presence on and off the dance floor!
